I just passed my driving test, and I really have to thank Austin. He’s a great instructor—experienced, skilled, and just a solid teacher all around.

What really helped was how patient he was and how he paid attention to the little things. He knows the test routes inside out, and he always points out the usual traps and common mistakes. That gave me real confidence going into the test.

With his help, I passed without any drama. If you want someone who knows his stuff, stays calm, and actually supports you, I’d highly recommend Austin.

Dillon from Diss is a great driving instructor. He is calm, reassuring and very patient. He somehow gives you confidence and explains everything in a way to suit you. I recommend him for anyone wanting to learn to drive. I truly believe you won’t find anyone better! 5 stars from us.

I learnt with Wendy, and had a great time doing so. I had a go at learning to drive pre-covid and found it very stressful, but with Wendy I found the whole experience much smoother. She has a great teaching style which I got on well with, and she was very willing to explain things and help me understand even if I didn’t get it the first time round. On top of that, she was wonderful company and we had lots of great chats during our lessons (which I miss very much!) Overall I had an excellent experience, and passed first time - highly recommend!

I passed last week thanks to the help of Scott Webb. He has been a kind, patient and encouraging instructor and knew exactly how to work with me and my anxiety about driving.
I had begun learning to drive 6/7 years ago but didn’t ever feel confident enough to see it through. When I started again with Scott I never had a doubt that I’d finally be passing my test soon.
Lessons were educational and fun, and every mistake was always turned into a lesson and a laugh as to make it easier for me to not over-dwell. It was a great experience from start to end and to be honest it’s bittersweet passing! I will miss our lessons but I am also over the moon to be out and about behind the wheel and confident.

Passed my manual driving test today first time round with Wendy Hutchinson. I have been learning to drive since July and Wendy has been such a calm and patient influence. She has really built my confidence up over this time and has made me feel safe as a new driver. I would recommend Wendy any day to anyone, especially nervous learners.

Highly recommend Sarah Nash I passed first time today with Sarah . I’ve had a previous instructor before which put me off driving for nearly two years . Then I found Sarah who pushed me to do my best and made me feel so comfortable. We had some great laughs too she is truly just amazing !!! X

Wendy Hutchinson (Colchester/Coggeshall area)is a brilliant instructor. Her lessons are well structured and she teaches in a manner which is most suited to the student. I started off my lessons lacking a lot of confidence in myself as well as having a fear of roundabouts. By the time my test came around I was a much more confident driver and had the ability to approach a major roundabout without panicking. This is all thanks to Wendy. I strongly recommend her.

I passed my test second time in Peterborough with the help of Sarah Goodacre. After having a long winded experience with driving and being on and off for 3 years, Sarah was my third instructor and was the best of them all! Glen Radford from Sudbury. Such a good instructor. Clear and taught me a lot. Helped me to pass first time. Very patient. On a lesson with Glen I could be really chatty or I could have a quiet lesson. It was always down to me. Would highly recommend.

Would not recommend Steve Hayward he was very rude on my first lesson when I challenged why I am going up to a empty junction to turn right and stop fully when it was clear...he got mad and said I should not be driving and made me drive home... He was teaching a friend at work named Ian at the same time who took about 5-6 attempts to pass his test, should of picked up on that fact... I changed Instructor immediately to Tony Telford and passed with zero minors 1st time. Personally don't like people who can't handle criticism.
