John Benson is the principle of the company and has been involved in driving instructor training since 1988. Officially graded by the Driving Standards Agency as both excellent and very good and awarded four times consecutively the grade 6 given to only about 3% of all Approved Driving Instructors John is also a DSA ORDIT recognised trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training) |

Geoff Donovan
Geoff Donovan is our newest member of the team. Geoff first started work in 1974 as a driving instructor before joining the Department of Transport as an examiner. The last 20 years were spent as the Supervising Examiner of Approved Driving Instructors (SE ADI) at the Cambridge test centre before retiring in August 2007 and joining Benson School of Motoring. Geoff was also extensively involved with the training of examiners at the DSA examiner training centre at Cardington near Bedford and trained many of the current SE ADI’s within the UK

I am very pleased to have this gentleman as part of our already excellent team of driving instructor trainers. Geoff brings a wealth of experience and expertise, which will help and improve what is already a very professional training establishment with a very high pass rate.

Paul Perkins
Paul Perkins was trained by this company first as a driving instructor before being promoted to staff trainer. Paul is also an examiner and deals with the testing of Essex County Council driving candidates and is also a DSA ORDIT recognised trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training)

Wendy Arthy
Wendy Arthy joined us in 2000 and was also trained by us from the start. She successfully works as a driving instructor and staff trainer and runs a separate part of the company franchising her own team of instructors. Wendy is also a DSA ORDIT recognised trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training)

John Parker
John Parker also joined us in 2000. An ex Metropolitan Police Officer John brings a wealth of experience to the company. John is also an examiner and deals with the testing of Essex County Council driving candidates. Trained by John Benson he worked as a driving instructor before being promoted to staff trainer in 2004. He is also a DSA ORDIT recognised trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training)

Steve Hammond
Steve Hammond is a long-standing member of our team. Originally trained by John Benson whilst at the British School of Motoring in 1989, Steve is a very experienced driving instructor trainer and also runs a separate part of the company training and franchising his own team of driving instructors. Steve is also a DSA ORDIT recognised trainer (Official Register of Driving Instructor Training)

All of our trainers are registered driving instructor trainers by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) and the Official Register of Driving Instructor Training (ORDIT) and provide training for all three parts of the qualifying examination
